Each member will be given a loyalty card to be stamped at the turnstile for every home game you attend. If you attend the following number of games you get the corresponding reward:

Here is a bit of background to tell you something about us. Way back in the mists of time when the club came into being and the Sandy Lane ground became its headquarters, it was run by a committee and had a board of trustees that looked after its assets. It stayed that way right through into the 21st century until, like many other clubs of its size, financial hardships became the order of the day. That led inevitably to the realisation that an association of volunteers needed to become more business minded if it was not to become extinct.


At that time Steve Adkins, who had taken the lead in moving the club to Imperial Fields, with a view to making the club solvent, formed a company called Tooting & Mitcham Sports Leisure Ltd. At the same time the football club committee/trustees formed itself into a limited company called Tooting & Mitcham Utd FC Members Club Ltd. About a year later the two companies merged their interests and the Members Club became a minority shareholder in the main business. The aim was to provide a complex for community sports and activities, with its flagship being our semi professional football team.


It’s a quite unique situation because Tooting & Mitcham United is a professionally run business with a team of volunteers that seek to practically support the club and its business, to ensure it remains viable. This contrasts with the extremes that can be seen around non league football where committees are getting older and older without younger replacements coming through. The other end of the spectrum has one man benefactors, who bring initial success but when they grow tired have no one to replace them either.


The Members Club provides a variety of volunteers covering a range of roles and also is represented at the ‘top table’ of decision making for the business. The Members Club is the fans in action, without it the football club would struggle to continue. The main company, with its community operations, is overstretched with many sports and educational projects, which is why the Members Club is so vital. There isn’t a good reason why any fan should not be a member, the more we have the more we can help the success of Tooting & Mitcham United FC.
