

FARM ROAD PAVILION

The Pavilion was originally opened in August 1931 and during the 1990’s Merton Council Youth Services ran their administration from there, moving out in 2009. It fell into disrepair and became inaccessible due to vandalism.
TM United obtained a long-term lease on the Pavilion in 2010 and refurbished the building with the aim to transform this pavilion into a community hub providing sport, physical activity, educational and wellbeing opportunities to the local community.
An open day was held on 30th April 2019, and since then a variety of activities has taken place including The Green Academies Project run by the National Trust and United Living offering courses in construction, cookery & hospitality.
Tooting & Mitcham United Youth FC play their matches at the site and future plans for the include re-establishing cricket on site.
FACILITIES
The pavilion comprises of a number of meeting rooms of various sizes, changing rooms, a large kitchen and servery area as well as the main hall. The outdoor space consists of woodland, grassed areas, a community garden and one grass 11v11 pitch.
