COVID -19 MEASURES  

League Football suspended

As per the Isthmian League announcement, all-league fixtures remain on pause until 9th January.  

 

The club is looking to arrange some friendlies and will provide updates soon.

 

The 3G artificial pitches are open for training, but inline with Covid 19 Tier 2 regulations the Sports Bar is closed.

Face masks/coverings - must always be worn in all indoor areas.

 

NHS Test & Trace – Contact details must be left

 

Everyone will need to download the NHS COVID-19 App and scan the QR code displayed on entry to either bar or the ground. If individuals cannot download the NHS App due to phone incompatibility, the EvePass app will still be available or people can leave their name and phone number.

 

Cafe Bar & Function room

  • Is closed in line with Tier 2 Covid-19 restrictions, no alcohol is for sale or permitted in the ground.  

 

Turnstiles

  • Tickets & programme available online in advance up to 12 noon on a Saturday or 5 pm for an evening match.

  • On a match day if tickets are available contactless or cash payments can be taken.

  • Turnstiles 4 & 6 have Perspex screen in place to protect the operators.

  • Queues are to be socially distanced and managed by volunteers/ stewards

  • Spectators who have not purchased a ticket online should check-in via the NHS Covid-19 App if installed or EvePass or leave a name and contact number.  

  • Sanitiser to be available for use on entry.

 

Volunteers

  • All volunteers are required to sign to confirm they have received a briefing and understand the measures in place before volunteering.

  • All volunteers to meet outside the football area, wear their blue high vis and proceed to their job role, if this is pitchside, they should wear masks while moving through the football area.

  • They should limit the amount of time indoors and social distance while undertaking their role.

 

Players/ Coaches

  

  • Must wear face masks in the changing rooms, get changed, in groups of no more than 6 and leave the area as quickly as possible.

  • Team talks can take place in the changing with only the starting 11, manager all in face masks.

  • Players and coaches should always socially distance outside of the match including during warm-up and cool downs.

  • Dugouts/benches should be socially distanced and have been extended to include the two rows in the stand with the third row cordoned off to separate players and spectators.

 

Match Officials

  • Are to arrive changed where possible and will use the board room to meet prior to the match. Refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits will be made available on a self-service basis. Should match officials need to change, they can utilise the designated referee’s room one at a time.

 

Stadium cleaning

  

  • The handrails and seating around the ground will be sanitised prior to the match.

  • Goalposts & corner flags to be sanitised prior to the game and at half time.

  • Balls to be sanitised prior to the game and during where possible.  

  • All toilets to be checked for soap, hand towels and cleanliness prior to matches.

 

Tannoy

  • Announcements to be made prior to, during and after the match to remind spectators of social distancing etc.
